1

Transport

Pneumatic and screw conveyors move flour within the mill. Trucks handle most wheat transport across Afghanistan, with each vehicle audited and inspected for cleanliness and food safety. Every two years, we survey all incoming truckloads to monitor delivery patterns and address emerging challenges.

2

Packaging & Bagging

Automated bagging machines fill and seal flour bags with precision. Packages are quality-checked, weighed, and stored on pallets in designated areas for efficient inventory control and shipment readiness.

3

Storage Silos

Bulk flour is stored in moisture-resistant silos, cleaned, and inspected regularly. We follow a FIFO system to prevent spoilage and maintain product integrity.

4

Temperature & Humidity Control

HVAC systems regulate environmental conditions in storage areas. We monitor and adjust temperature and humidity to prevent mold, condensation, and spoilage.

5

Pest Control

Measures include sealed entry points, insect screens, and routine inspections. Flour is stored off the ground and away from walls, with food-safe insecticides and traps used as needed.

6

Safety Measures

We enforce strict labeling, storage height limits, and fire protection protocols. Staff receive training on safe handling, emergency procedures, and PPE usage, supported by regular safety audits.

7

Inventory Management

Our system tracks stock levels, movements, and replenishment cycles. Regular audits ensure accuracy and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
